its impressive to get that much hp out of a 4cyl. but that is hardly a eclipse, tube chassis, RWD, motors not even mounted transversely

 

I don't understand the madness behind that. For probably 1/2 the amount of money, they could have had a V8 car every bit as fast. I don't see howtheycould be considered "4cyl" class with those times. I doubt there are many 4 cylinder cars that could even come close to that. So either they would be running the track alone, or they will have to move up to the V8 class for any decent competition.
