Bosch plugs run a different resistance than NGK's, it's enough of a difference that it can cause your coil to overheat and burnout. I've personally seen it happen more than once to the same car and heard of it happening a few times on here.
Your '92 may have had a different type of coil than the more recent ones. Also, with your current setup, I'd expect a stand alone ignition.

Iridiums are good, but if you plan to use a capacitive discharge ignition, the small point electrodes will get fried off. Other than that, NGK Iridiums are a great plug. For an MSD ignition or similar, I'd look at Champion, ZEX, or NGK platinum. Platinum is no good for nitrous though.

I do have the stand-alone. Also my old engine was the "performance" F22A6 for the 90-93 models, so it had a larger external coil vs. the standard internal coil.

sure .... I have the Denso's! Never had a problem, but as I near 90k I'm going to change to NGK's. A little more expensive and a little better (per ratings anyway, my personal testing shows the same spark).

autozone over here didnt have the densos in stock... only had 1 spark plug LOL....

i picked up the champion autolite double platinum.... and so far.... WAYYYYY BETTER than the bosh i used to have in there.

i noticed WAYYY better performance, faster and smother acceleration, and the shaking while on a high geer at low speeds went away, unless im near like 900rpm on 3rd gear lol (did it just to test it)

only thing is that my MPG is probably going to decrease dramatically.. due to the urge to punch it more often LOL.... i really have to stop that .... haha..

Thanks for the advice on getting the boshes out....
