Default K24A4 w/ Turbo

So I was thinking about adding a small turbo to my 04 Honda Accord 2.4L / iVTEC / Automatic Transmission. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any helpful advice would be appreciated... especially because I know there may be some issues with the transmission timing with the new turbo.

I don't know if it comes out of the Element or not... All I know is it's a K24A4 - 2.4L 4-cyl DOHC, iVTEC, A/T. I really want to turbo it, and would love to hear what ANYONE can suggest. Was thinking about using a Garrett turbo probably about 5-8 psi... nothing huge... I just want a little extra power for when I want it / need it.

BTW WheelBroker... what did you mean "one of your's below"?

The Acura RDX has the ONLY factory turbocharged motor from Honda/Acura, its the K23.

I wouldn't even bother turbocharging your car b/c its an automatic. Look into using the Comptech S/C for the TSX.

If you do it, buy a very large transmission cooler to prolong the life of it.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes if you proceed with the turbo.

I don't know if they sell the turbo manifold for your car... but if they do, then all else can be done.... just buy the things a part, and put them together.... i did mine so it's not so hard as long as you have the right tools and time and don't be afraid to screw up!
P.S: i did mine when i was 18, so believe me when I say that if you read, u can make it...
