Really?!? .... the bearings on the tC start to have issues around 350 bHP and my car-s limit is at 6300.
Rly.

Well, what are the rod/main bearing sizes on the TC's engine? It must have a really poor R/S ratio.

6300rpm redline? WTF?!

G23 = F series SOHC block + H series DOHC (Vtec or Non) head.

The K-series can take more than 9-10 psi, but they also have higher compression than our motors, so thats a lot of air/fuel and heat to squeeze into a combustion chamber.

Thinking about building a f23 because.....well nobody does.......

The G22 or G23 is a freaking awesome swap the sleeves in the sohc block are Iron so when doing the build all you need is forged piston and rods. no need to change the crank unless cracked or something. The H22 head has DOHC and far more options as far as cams, gears, and valve train and also intake manifolds too. you have to use the the F23 head gasket, plug two of the drain holes on the head with like JB Weld. and then you need the H22 water pumpgears and internals and install them in the F22 water pump housing put it all together and get it tuned properly and you are off and running
