Default RE: TURBO QUESTION

If you want a premade kit I've heard good things about Drag. I've also heard good things about Turbonetics, but I didn't like their method of adding fuel to the motor which was to add 2 injectors and a seperate controller. At least that's how they did when I started looking. Or you could save a grand or so and build a kit. That's what I did!

As far as numbers go, I ran it at 8 psi (f22b2 also) when I first got it working and I kicked my friends 04' mustang GT on a stretch of about an 1/8 mile . Can't give you an exact number, but check out what an 04 GT can do and figure somewhere in there. (his stang' is mostly stock with the exception of an intake)

I am buying a wide band 02 sensor in a week or two and then I can tune my chipped ECU that I just finished. After that, I'll drop in the DSM 450 cc injectors and i'll up the boost again (killin my stock injectors at 8 psi with that FMU). Then, it's off to the track and I'll have some real numbers.

Expect some serious gains though. It's not like putting an intake and exhaust system on. It's like a brand new car.

haven't dynoed it or anything. I really should, but I'm always too busy. I have the exhaust system done too, and the suspension of course. I have a 2nd f22b2 I've got torn down to the block and I'm ready to start building a 20+ psi turbo motor. Need to get some rod and crank bearings for it first though!
