Default 2001 Accord EX

Hello guys!

I own a 2001 accord with 284,000. The car has been great over the years and I'm hoping that I can get many more miles out of it. I've noticed that things are beginning to fail and I've really just now start putting money in the car for repairs. I'm concerned that something major may go out with all the mileage and thinking if I should go ahead and purchase a new car. I'm confident and trust that I can get over 300,000 miles on the car but I just don't want something major to go out and then I'll be stuck..

The Honda Civic is a line of compact cars developed and manufactured by Honda. In North America, the Civic is the second-longest continuously-running nameplate from a Japanese manufacturer; only the Toyota Corolla, introduced in 1968, has been in production longer. The Civic, along with the Accord and Prelude, comprised Honda's vehicles sold in North America until the 1990s, when the model lineup was expanded. Having gone through several generational changes, the Civic has become larger and more upmarket, and it currently slots between the Fit and Accord.

well, that usually happens with high mileage. you can buy another car or drive the car to ground.
