7th gen gas light.
curious. how far you've pushed it with the light on i drove 54 miles with the light on and it seriously took only 14.?? gallons... i'm gonna go for 75 next time. also it was only 39.96 to fill. i've only had my accord for a month but after at the gas tank its never taken more than 39.96. freaking awesome from the 80 on the silverado. So how far have you pushed it?

i usually fill up after 10 miles or so, i dont like to push it. The last thing i want is to have to hike a few miles in this weather. brrr!
one time i saw this dude run out of gas in the left turn lane of an intersection about 30 feet away from a gas station. there were like 10 people behind him. i lol'd.

Just to let you know thats really hard on your fuel pump. When you let it get that low your fuel pump gets hot and this increases its failure rate. The gasoline keeps your fuel pump cool. You shouldnt really let it go below a 1/4.

well you gotta do the math. 17.1 gallon tank light comes on with 4 gallons left. approx at low 24 miles per gallon 4 X 24= 96 miles left. why would honda make a fuel pump to "burn" up at less then a 1/4 of a tank...?

i think 1/4 of a tank is pushing it. as long as you fill up when the gas light turns on you wont strain the fuel pump too much.
I have a friend with a lumina where he literally CANT go below a quarter tank or else the engine gets all bogged down from a bunch of contaminated gas in the tank, or so he says.
