If there's one thing I don't understand, it's why car guys have so little respect for other car guys, I'm still extremely young so maybe you vets can help me understand? I drive a 1995 honda accord ex coupe with minimal upgrades and personally is in no way riced out! (Catback *quiet* exhaust, 1&1/4" drop springs & new struts, AEM short ram air intake, 2 15" subwoofers, new headlights(non hid) and 17x8" TASTEFUL rims, why so much hate ?!

not too new buddy! but mostly local airheads with rich family and infinity g35s and extremley expensive cars!

 

Maybe they aren't truly car guys. Usually when around like minded (whether car buffs, aviation, etc) there is a mutual respect that extends to those just getting started / learning the ropes to casual aficionados to those that live/eat/breath it. Could be that they are just shallow.

There's jerks everywhere, doesn't seem to matter what kind of car you drive.

 

.....whatever happened to "you meet the nicest people in a Honda"?

But I see the OP isn't talking about others in Honda's but it seems the OP is talking about drivers of other cars....

 

Buy a RX7, we have a real tight community.

But there is hate toward Hondas, especially from the "higher end" cars.

 

Drive in RH lane, stay at/below speed limit, give a gap when person needs to merge, and try to think pleasant thoughts when ***hole cut's you off and you have to stand on brakes to avoid collision.

It's a jungle out there and getting worse.
