Nice! I dont know what the guy who had it before me did to it, but mine is actually averaging 38mpg. No complaints here! Hooray for 550 miles per tank! Lol

Measure the MPG over time, mine is a mix (~50/50) of city/highway. I think the sticker/EPA rating for hwy was ~34 or so.

"Live2rice" - Hope to have the car in the driveway tomorrow night. You want to post a pic or do you want me to take a few (this weekend when it is warm) and send them to you?

A guy contacted me today with a 97 850r. Its also red. Heres the kicker, it has 325,000 miles, some rust on the rear fender wells, and the paint has faded badly.

I asked how much he wanted for it thinking it could be used as a parts car or something. And he says well the KBB is $3,500 in fair condition. And I looked and it actually is, but mines KBB was $3,850 or something in fair condition. Apparently doubling the miles only takes away $350. Dude is out of his mind if he thinks he will get anywhere near that, I was thinking $1,000.

I think you did well with the 96 850R you have....or at least I'm hoping so

Again, I tried to check everything I could think of. Having never driven one, it drove fine to me. I've got to get out there this weekend and look for an owners manual or just start playing with buttons and see what does what....I still haven't figured out where the rear wiper is???

Yeah I can't help you with that lol.

Yeah I think I did well too, the only other red wagon for sale I could find had close to 190k miles, they wanted $1,200 more and it was in the seller's words "not perfect".

I owe some more pic's of it. Might be able to do that Sunday.....this weekend it rained Saturday and then with the storms I spent Sunday cleaning up the mess.

If it works out Sunday, I'll just e-mail them to you and Cassy. Might snow Friday night so Saturday pic's might not work out.

BTW - Did she get the paperwork from the dealer? Again, I got a copy of everything just in case. I'm not worried about getting tags and that, I can get by until you get back without any....I'm not going far in it, not doing anything to cause "attention". So with the "drive out" tag and a .....swap of tags from one of my other .... it will be no problem keeping the battery charged, move the fluids around, be sure the tires don't get "egg shaped", ect.
