Anyone Familiar w/Lowering SUVs ...
Hey everybody! Ive got a 2002 Isuzu Axiom Im planning to buy some Axis wheels for next month... Here goes pics of my car, the Wheels (22" Axis Titans), and a photochop so you get the idea of how they might look.

SO, I tried to research but found Nothing on the subject of dropping my Ride at a "Very Reasonable Price" ...
Apparently I think My SUV is equipped with some sort of airbag suspension ? ...
I dont think its a simple spring kit, and I dont think coilovers are made for my Axiom...
If anybody has any idea how I can manage an affordable drop please drop a line and/or feel free to comment on this.
Thanks!
***Oh, and just so ya know, All im gonna want is to eliminate Fender Gap or keep it at bare minimum.

Well luckily I havent had any problems with the Axiom... and Im pretty sure it has the same motor as the Isuzu Rodeo...
wasnt the Rodeo closely paired withthe Honda Passport?

I know the pick ups are rebagded GMS, but the engine is izuzus own. So I would assume that motor is an izuzu. Unless that car was under 10K I would be really worried owning it.
Unfortunately, under the Axiom's cutting-edge body was the largely unchanged Rodeo chassis, which was judged to be crude by critics.
I wouldn't expect that lowering a SUV would be any different than on a car ..... as long as you are looking to do less than 3". Springs, dampers and camber correction ..... and an alignment should be all that you need.

I say Rodeo suspension parts should fit if you can find them.

... as far as springs & shocks/struts ... I THINK the axiom runs on some sort of weird airbag/strut suspension... from in the car you can switch suspension setting from a plush comfort ride to a stiffer sport-mode... ?
Thats basically just dampers with EDFC control on them... you would have to physically look to see if there are bags around the shocks or springs.
2nd gen (1998-2004) Rodeo parts should be interchangeable and possibly some Isuzu Amigo/Rodeo Sport parts as well, and both are very similar to the Honda Passport, so you may be in some luck finding the right parts.
