Default Blew a tire

So I had a short road trip this weekend with a couple of my friends. We went from college back to my neck of the woods about 150 miles away. My friend wanted to look at a crotch rocket some guy was selling. Anyway, after about an hour of driving on I-95, my left rear tire blew. Started soft; it just sounded like someone with a loud exhaust was riding my tail, but there wasn't. After about 10 more seconds, it was apparent my tire was going flat. So I pulled over on the side of 95 and changed it for the donut. Cost me $216 at Sears to get two new tires. (15k on the stock tires, might as well get a whole new set for the front axle; they didn't have an exact match anyway.) Needless to say, it was quite the road trip.
