Default Can Accord software be hacked via Internet?

Is Accord software protected from unauthorized hacking via the Internet as the Jeep/Chrysler has been recently?

It is my understanding that if a person uses the fob remote to lock or unlock a car's doors, that signal can be picked up by specific trans-sponders and then decoded via software

I've heard about what Prospector says, regarding hacking your remote-unlocking system. But I think the Jeep/Chrysler stuff is about hacking things while you are driving.

I think the question should be for a specific model. For example, some cars can tell if you're drifting out of your lane. But some cars can actually force the steering to put you back into your lane.

If YOUR car doesn't have any software-driven action related to the steering, then your steering can't be hacked. Someone might hack your HVAC or radio station presets, but that's not in the same league as steering.

I posted something to that effect last year, I shall go into the archives and see if I can pull it up for everyone again.
