Yes that is what the SMG stands for. I'm sure it'd be better than the system in my Volvo but I want a true manual gearbox.

Yeah the pricing is a bit crazy, for the price of the M3s I am looking at you could get a much newer 335i.

 

if I have extra gas, and time on my hands I will do this mountain run. Its scenic and technical. I rarely push my car to the limit anymore but it still is nice to get it up there and take some corners in it.
