Having Fun Today
i'm helping a friend change a heater core in his 1999 Jimmy. dash is out, pass wheel well is out, heater case has some bolts on the engine side of the fire wall - but instead of being bolts they are stud with a 4mm head.
he started at 10am this morning. he just left, heater case still in place. it's a beyotch.

Went swimming for 1 hour, then into the Gym for 35 minutes , then walked the upper track in da club for 20 mins...last of all the best for last..Went off to Subway to EAT FRESH...
Well I was going to take some pics and make a 'how to' for broken spark plugs, but the blood pressure was so high I couldn't hold the camera still.
Got the broken porcelain out, made a snorkletube for the vacuum out of 1/2" air hose, kept chipping at it with a long chisel till it FINALLY split and rattled up the vacum hose.
Then took a little straight die grinder bit and oval shaped the broken thread parts of the spark plug till it was getting close to the threads.
Then used a chain saw file to work each end of the oval shape until threads were showing; By then I could use a big screwdriver to collapse the remains of the spark plug threads and wiggle them out.
Then I ran a 14mmX1.25 tap down thru the threads, and then used a long blower nozzle to get metal chips out of the cylinder.
So today turned out to be a great day when that pickup rolled out the driveway; 66 degrees & sunshine, chicken breasts on the grill, corn on the cob, pasta salad, and deviled eggs.
I'll bet Ang and Jared didn't eat that good today !!
