home made hidden radar
Has anyone tried making their own hidden radar detector? Iv got 2 laying around an I had this idea of taking 2 radar detectors apart and splice together the 2 sets sensors to one radar unit. Then place the sensors around the inside of the car (windshields. And back windows) then place a small speaker in a hidden spot and put the display screen w/e you choose. lol I know this sounds kind of weird and or dumb but I think it would be kinda cool. Plus cops seem to mess with you more when you have a radar detector hanging off you windshield.

That's not going to work... If you want to do something like that, and your radar is mine and uses individual LEDs for the screen you can mount the radar hidden somewhere, with the display separately.
