Default Just thinking... is it possible?

Would it be possible to swap an F22B2 into a 95 del Sol SI? BlkCurrantKord, I'm looking at you for some real input... any hassles? Difficulties?

Completely possible and doable. When I get my other motor built I'm throwing the F23 into a civic (preferably an EF) for a daily.

Get a mount kit for an H22. May take a little work on the driver's side mount.

www.hasport.com -axles
www.innovativemounts.com - mounts, etc
www.bisimoto.com - adapter plate so you can use the stock B or D trans that the del sol came with, with the F22 motor. Note: the motor will sit a tad higher I think.

Might take some wiring work of course. Use a P06 ecu.

I drove 60 miles one way to test drive it. It drove like a dream and was in great condition, except for some trademark Honda rust. KBB Private Party on it was $3,600, they were asking $4,495 for it, offered them $4k. They told me they had someone in the process of buying it after I test drove it, but when I called them 2 hours earlier they excitedly told me that it was still for sale. I called them back later in the day to check up on the deal and they told me it sold. I smell BS because I didn't offer them what they wanted and are waiting for someone to cough up their asking price... oh well.

Also found a del Sol for $2,000 but it needs some "door work" and a muffler. Might take a look at it, has 160k on the odometer...

But.... I also found a 1999 Accord LX in good condition and it would work out nicer with transporting people and subs... but I can't decide which would be better to go for... obviously $2k is way cheap for a rare del Sol...
