Changed my driving habits a bit in my 2001 Accord and saw some improvement over the last tank of gas. I accelerated a little slower and kept it to 70mph or less on the highway - saw my average jump from 23.4 to 25.4 mpg overall.

Next, I'm upping the tire pressure to 35psi all the way around, and I'll post again with that number next week. If I were able to get by with no AC right now, in addition to these other changes, I bet I could get close to 27 mpg overall. But, it'll probably be October before I feel like testing that theory.

that's what I get (well, maybe 27 or 28 ), keeping the rev up to 2000rpm in the city, and changing gear on the highest gear possible. (of course when the car is up for it)

My tire pressure is 31psi all round.

I have a 98 I4 sedan lx and i was averaging 30-31 MPG driving normal with AC and with driving smoother and the loss of AC I've been averaging 33-34 MPG and over 500 miles a tank. I do about 80% highway or less and do 70 or less on the highways.

I think my number of mpg slightly lower than yours is because i run header & test pipe so the car does runs on the richer side because of less back pressure.
