Default Newb with a question

I'm about to buy an 06 or 07 Accord Coupe V6 6Speed for the wife on Tuesday. Is there any difference between the years? I'm gonna get the Honda Body Kit, 18" Wheel Pkg, Alum. Trim Pkg & Fog lights. It's just that I get quite abit better deal on the 06. The wife drives a 05 Civic Si(EX in the States). So I'll be trading that in. It's a nice little car but when I get out of my 500 HP SUV and into that I want to kill myself.lol. I'm a domestic guy but I love the Hondas too. I'd get an Acura but where I live we don't have any dealers and it sucks to have drive an hour to get service done when needed. Is the 06 Accord a good choice? These are my cars I have right now. So I think you can understand why I need a little quicker car for her and I. I drove one the other day and I love the interior on it.

Yea the accord is one sweet **BUTT** ride, i dont think youll find anyone here that has anything negative to say about it. Afterall this is an accord forum [sm=smiley17.gif] as for a difference between the 06 and 07, i dont think there is much of one. i could be wrong?

Save the $$$ and jump on the '06. The major redesign will be on the '08 model so the differences between '06 & '07 will be minor.

Colors? Unknown to be honest. There might be other minor changes but not enough to offset the savings of the '06 in my opinion.

I believe they have it with the sedans for the 06's assuming that they dont change it between the various trim levels LED tail lights are more efficent and last longer then bulbs

Provided they have the right drivers The company I work for makes Semi conductors, one of the new(ish) markets are Automotive LED's. I think GM just plugged the LED's straight into the live at one time. They do not last long that way, the newer ones have a micro chip (driver) which switches the power to the LED off and on (I forget the frequency). This makes them more efficient and run a lot cooler - therefore lasting much longer. I am guessing Honda are doing this.
