well we went to the dragstrip last night, unfortunatly the tree was not working, so they did pinks style and dropped the hands to race, and it was dark after waiting 3 hours for them to decide that they would not be able to fix the tree, so therefore my videos did not come out very well, i will tell you this though, the accord represented, i walked ALL civics by atleast 1 car length, i walked a 99 eclipse 2.0 dohc with cai and full meagan exhaust by almost 3 lenghts, the only car in my class that beat me was a 95 accord ex (vtec) vs my non vtec we both had cai and exhaust but he had headers and i don't, and he beat me by a bumper, i did race a camaro 3.8 v6, he holeshot me and i ran him down i ended up losing by about 1/4 car length but i was pulling on him sooooo hard had it been a 1/4 mile track he was toast. anyways it was soooooo fun, we will probably go back on sunday to get daytime video where you can see everything, i do have some videos but it's dark, and my wife shot some of them and she thought the finish line was closer than it was so she cut it off early!!

what'd you run for times? or was the time system not working either.

its kinda nice that they put you in classes. at the dragway i go to they dont. so its all luck what you race. either a 26 sec 1980 chevy POS truck or a 9 sec 1G Eagle Talon TSI

 

yea at this track you just line up with who you wanna run, times were not up either, we will be going back july 11th , hopefully they will be working then and i can get some daytime video, they only do test and tune every other friday, it was tons of fun though!

yea, well they do it every other fri, and then every other sunday, so it's once a week, either fri or sun , but sunday is from 11am - 6pm , very very hot here in florida which = slower times, rest of the week they do tons of pro racing , there is nothing good in this part of florida

 

the track her is Wed, sat, and sun...plus an occational mon. I used to go w/ my pal's turbo eclipse 99'and his brother's RX-7 twin turbo 91' or porche 74'.
