I got the unn. accel. ticket for auto-crossing/drifiting through a long strip mall parking lot following a buddy in his Focus. WE coulve gotten pegged for far more serious things but we were let off somewhat easy. Having 3 police cars pull over 2 cars right in front of the doors at walmart is a little embarrassing.

Zero. Minnesota doesnt use a point system.

If you get 3 tickets in a year, they suspend your license for 90 days. I got 3 tickets last year, but I talked to the prosecutor and got it reduced to a $1000/90 days in jail sentence and had to pay $300 of the fine and 0 days in jail.

Only tickets I got was erratic driving, which was just so the cop could pull me over and try and search my car, which I beat him in court. Also I got another ticket failure to retain control of my vehicle or something like that, when I got t-boned by a dump truck, once they proved he ran the red that ticket got dropped too. I didn't know getting hit by 20,000 pounds and getting thrown across US 1 was ilegal.....

 

Wow that second cop should be demoted to a janitor.

 

Cops down here like to throw a lot of sh*t at the wall and see what sticks, it really is bad.

 

Not too much different from my town.

Stop drifting FWD cars people!!!! Not only does it wear out your tires, but it is physically impossible to drift a car that does not have rear drive wheels!
