You connect it to cylinder #1's spark plug. It flashes every time it sparks, you shin eht elight on the crank pulley and the marks on the puller line up with an arm on the t-belt cover (or engine mount in the altima's case)

You know I always thought that's pretty much how it could work, but was never sure as the one my dad has just has big battery alligator clamps on it.

Lol and my car is nothing special, only thing I have done to it is my sound system.

There are two different types; old school and induction. You hook them up to the battery and the induction one just clamp over the spark wire and picks up the signal, the older school one (that I just threw away) go between the cap and plug wire. It's not very safe... I got shocked twice last weekend and the spark plug wires run like 20k+ volts?

Lol I shocked the crap out of my self checking for spark on my little motor, I didn't have the plug grounded on the motor, instead my hand was it's ground. I gave the engine a good pull, and let out a girly scream. It's not 20k volts, but it is around 1000v or so.

No, I don't swear much around adults. If I were by myself, i would've drawn neighbors out into the street.

Lol come on you know nitro is the biggest hassle in the world. Gas is all about ease. My engine starts on the second pull every time. And I don't need a stupid plug ignitor, or electric starter. Not to mention once I have my needles set I never have to touch them again, and not have to mess with the needles every time you run the motor. Oh and gas motors actually last longer than a few hours lol. And $2 a gallon is a lot better than $20 a gallon, and nitro engines eat up fuel as I'm sure you know lol.

But if I was going to run a truck or car I would go nitro, as the gassers are way to expensive and those trucks are only fun if you ragg on them.
