Hhahaha... I love my Macs... they just work and they're powerhouses. I just wish they weren't a fad and everyone and their mother had one. Get this: I ripped 4 movies, 2-pass encoding, in 2 hours last night. And my MacBook Pro is a few years old and beat up.

Don't get me wrong, I built a sweet PC a couple years ago...

 

All I know is every Mac I have ever used has been garbage, part of the problem was the network, but I even used my friends own personal one and it was junk.

 

Screw Mac.....Build your own compter!!! Besat Cheapest computer you can get to your liking.

 

That's a shame... that's what turns everybody away from them... they either use them and it doesn't work right or their friends just doesn't do the upkeep on it.

The only issue I've EVER had with mine was I killed the hard drive last summer and had to get it replaced free.

 

and the no right click thing drives me absolutely bananas.

 

x2. I built an $800 machine that outperformed $3500 store bought machines.

 

A. You can use regular PC mouses with right click and it works like right click does.
B. Barely any Mac apps utilize right click menus. And you can always Ctrl+Click to get the same thing. In fact, I use more keyboard commands than anything because theyre easier.

But to each his own, I don't want to have the Mac vs. PC discussion.

OS X is better designed than windows, period. I still use XP, it better suits what I do. XP is just fine if you know what your doing, you give a fool XP and they are going to have endless probelsm.
