funny story at my girls dads house today and her sis's bf calls him and wants to talk to him, and i assume its to ask for his daughters hand in marriage and thought it'd be awkward if i were there seeing how they havent dated a year yet so we leave to get ice cream and get back and he asked for marriage. funny why do people get married less then a year of knowin/dating each other and why get married a 21? but whatever.

 

Did the dad say yes? I bet he says no to you...

Even 4 years isn't much time to get to know someone...

 

This couple while I was in hs got married junior year...moved in senior year..had a child this past january... there only 19. I was "that guy" who introduced him to her.

 

Getting married before like 23 is just dumb. I know a couple that got married in high school, just stupid.

 

dad said yes, didnt really say if he was happy or not. did say he had heartburn.

Edit: well needless to say my girl and i have known each other for 3 years and dated for bout 2 so it lead to the convo about me being 21 and still in college. and not ready to get married.
