Alec got good news for you, that is if you already did not know. You can get a hefty discount on the metra kit when ordering a HU from crutchfield. I was just given the option of getting the metra kit for $75 or the cubby kit and harness for free. I'm taking the harness and cubby kit, just to sell them on ebay.

work sucked
got to school and it was spring weekend this weekend, found people had gone through my ****, left trash and **** on my desk. someone slept in my bed(luckly i saw this coming and took the sheets and everything home so they just had a comforter.)

Yeah and the steering wheel control interface, I'd really like to use them. I've had my car for two years and never got to use them for too long. I didn't even know such an interface existed until I started looking at HU's. I'm going to sell my old HU for $200, and use that to get an amp and use the rest for my next boat.

A quick update from me ....
The tc has baked in CCFL halos now .... I mentioned them to some of you. I put the overlays on the taillights and I think they look pretty good. Not the best melting job, but not bad for my first time. I have my headunit in with the bluetooth mic mounted and the sub amp and subs working. After the radio, I made the gasuge holder to cover up most of the hole where the gauges will go. ..... and the big install ..... my new KW Variant 2 suspension. The helper springs suck up a lot of the minor road bumps, but if you hit a rut that's about an inch deep, it's already knocked the wind out of me!!!
