I'll hop on that 2morrow.

What do you do to reset the ECU? I usually take of the - batt cable but don't have tools here. So i'll pull the ECU fuse. Do I have to wait, or just put it back in? Then just start it up and let it idle for 5 minutes and drive normally?

I'd like to clean the EGR ports but don't want to F w/ the injectors all that much. Plus i dont think it affects mpg

Yeah you could do that, or just unplug the actual ECU(what I normally do) but you need tools for that.

Bah, I need to figure out this mpg thing sometime.

How much is a compression test and how the heck do they do that? Any ideas?

its like a thing they put in the spark plug hole and then crank the engine over, shouldn't cost too much, doesnt take very long.

Here's a compression tester from HarborFreight. AutoZone & places like that have 'em.

Warm up the engine. Remove all 4 spark plugs. Disable spark & fuel.
Thread that thing into one of the sparkplug holes.
Wide-open throttle. Crank the starter until the gauge quits rising.
Do it again for the other 3 cylinders.
