Has anyone else noticed that the color most closely associated with the eighth generation Accord is Polished Metal?

More to the point, can someone please explain the appeal of this color to me? I really dont see why it's so popular. It strikes me as drab, boring, and bland, but it seems like every other eighth gen I see is painted this color. On the road... In parking lots... In the drive-thru at McDonlds... It almost feels like Honda made too many liters of this color paint, and just decided to make 'em all this color.

Can't say that I really have noticed....now I'm going to pay more attention.

 

LOL I have one & I agree. I bought it as I had no color choice(Buying Used), this was the most well kept & well equipped car that I came across, not that I have any issue with this color.

Yeah, I've seen that "polished metal" paint color and have yet to figure out what the colorists at Honda were thinking; tres boring.

 

I went to my Honda Dealer to see that color so that I could post a picture of it in here...And Guess What....
