Rear brake replacement on 2008 Accord

I had to take my 2008 Honda Accord in for new rear brakes, the repairman told me to check this site, that I might be able to get a refund. Does anyone know how I go about getting refund?

the mechanic said that cuz there was a recall on the oem brake pads
they would wear down really quick
mine went out after 15k miles

Refund

I received a refund directly from Honda for brakes replacement at about 17000 miles. They will refund up to $150 if I remember correctly.
