Angry Toyota makes JUNK............

I just simply can't believe this..............sunk float in the carb on my 85 pickup.

P O S only lasted 25 years! ! ! 265k miles.

And to think I was planning to upgrade to an 89 Yota pickup, well no way, not now.
I'm not going to buy another truck that I have to invest $35 for carb parts every 25 years.

You guys think I might get Toyota to warranty it?? Maybe "service good will" ?

Yeah, Lotus, along with Lucas electronics. Bastions of reliability. You'll be able to drive at least 265k ... inches between breakdowns.

LMAO We used to have a customer with a 'Sterling' it was a rebadged legend with lucas electrics.
The fan speed controller was an open wire wound strip...you could look right thru the control **** slot and see the windings. Had to blast it off with brake clean and compressed air twice a year.
I think we replaced just about every single connector underhood as they had no kind of moisture protection.
When the guy pulled up in the service drive....the shop got as quiet as a graveyard, and techs disappeared like cockroaches when the kitchen light turns on. LOL.
