Default What did you pay for your Accord?

We are shopping for our second car to accompany our '05 Pilot, and have been looking at the new '06 Accord as one of the options.

We are also considering a Subaru Forester and the Mazda6 Wagon(if Honda made an Accord Wagon, it would be an instant sale )

But we are very interested in what people are seeing as actual pricing after negotiation on the 4-cyl EX and 6-cyl EX Accords.

Thanks
al

Just bought my wife a white Accord EX, 4 cyl., Automatic, with dealer installed "appearance package" (pinstripe, etc.) She had a '99 Avalon V6 and thinks the Accord has as much power, is quieter, and has a better ride than the Avalon, I have to agree. Sticker $25.5K, got it for $22K even (I threatened to go next foor to buy a Camry). Will be buying a 7 yr./60K ext. warrantee from Warrantee Direct, $930 bumper to bumper with emissions coverage (much cheaper than Honda's offer). Plus Honda didn't offer a 7/60 anyway, and we only drive about 7-8K miles per year. Not sure if an Accord would have $930 worth of repairs in the last 4 years, but having 7 years of Roadside assistance and 7 years of Bumper to Bumper including stereo, seems well worth it. My wife drove a "New Jetta" before she drove the Accord and we would have bought one had they had the right color on the lot. She's now real happy they didn't.

I just bought a Subaru Baja, and really love it. I came from a Tundra, and like the "sports car" feel to to the Baja, and its practicality for hauling the kind of stuff I need it for. If I could only find a real maintenance schedule for the Accord, I'd be real happy.

2014 Honda accord EX-L v-6 was 26,542 plus taxes and fees. Tax=8%

I owed about 2300on a lease that I was way over mileage for.

With all the taxes and fees and what i owed on my car I walked out for a payment of 480/month w/ 3k down. Was this a good deal?

1994 accord in 2002 $5K for 89K miles, drive it to 168K
1998 accord in 2006 $6K for 87K and busted trans, fixed trans but kennedy transmission could not repair it so after the 4th attempt, traded it in for a 2002 CL type S for $15K

btw the i4 accord and Avalon v6 are similar in output only if you have the small one
