What other car brands do you like besides Honda and Acura?

I agree with the 'merican car lovers here, however their interiors as far as i've seen are crap. I haven't been in any newer ones though... I was cleaning a 04 mustang GT last november and when I got to the console around the shifter, i could pull it off easily without any tools. too easily. and i didnt break it or anything lol. I can say from personal experience that the 4A engine series that toyota made was bulletproof. besides honda, the only car company i'd trust 100% would be toyota, and even then I'm leery about their build quality for new cars for both. In my opinion the peak of reliability in the history of cars is honda and toyota in the 90's hands down. As for brands I like thats a different story. Dream car for me is a 1976-1980 Pontiac Trans Am. I wish american car companies could make 'em like they used to...

What other brands to I like?
I like BMW. They are GREAT driving machines and get excellent fuel mileage when you don't have your foot in it. Tromp down on it and HOLD ON.. (135, 335, 535 turbo versions, M series versions are insane for power ) Fun and fast.. great cars.
I would not own one that is out of warranty... too expensive for my budget. Leasing is, in my oppinion, the way to go in this brand.
I have never been crazy about domestic brands. I have owned them all.. they are.. ok, but really don't do anything for me except point a to point b transportation.
Honda for reliability and parts cost are the most car for your money. Other Japanese cars are excellent also. I do enjoy the fun of driving my 1995 Mitsubitshi 3000GT. It is unique and a beautiful sleek designed car. I get complements on it EVERY time I drive it. I don't even get that when I drive a $50,000 BMW.
This is my Oppinion.. yours might be different so please be respectful of that.

Currently I've got Saabs & like them. Although the bad feature is having the warranty evaporate (thanks GM).
I've always liked the hot version of small cars, not necessarily devoted to a brand. Started that trend with a 1974 BMW 2002tii. Bought that one used and before long it turned into a pile of red-brown powder. (The early '70s weren't real stellar for corrosion protection in ANY brand.) Followed by Jetta GLi, Integra GSR, and Saab 9.2x (which was a re-badged Subie WRX).

I love Chevy Astro's, we owned one for 5 years. Paul loves Rover Coupe's (he's had about 6 or 7).
British Fords are rubbish, nothing like the American ones.
We owned an Alfa Romeo.... for 10 days, say no more!
Maybe it's because we are English, but we love most American cars!

My "other" vehicles are Chevrolets...
A lowered 2002 4 wheel drive Chevy Silverado, and a 1971 Chevelle Super Sport with a big gas guzzling engine...
Here's how the Chevelle sounds at idle:
