I'm in the market for a pre-owned Accord Coupe EX-L V6 what year should I be looking at and why? My 1998 EX-L V6 is just plain getting too old. Although it's trustworthy it's just been in my possession too long, 15years actually. So I"m in the market for an exact replacement, I just need to know from you guys which year is better than the other. Thanks

Perhaps a bit of information: which years (generations) have you considered?

 

I'm thinking 2012 thru 2016 EX-L V6. What was the first year for the 6 speed automatic? is this a good transmission? were they all 6 speed autos? I'm clueless!

 

Personally I'd opt for one with a manual transmission; I believe you can find V6 Coupes starting with the Gen 7 models and later with a 6-Speed manual.

 

Well I purchased a 2016 EX-L V6 Automatic Coupe. A few growing pains but I really like the car. I just came out of a 1998 EX-L V6 Automatic Coupe and what a difference 18 years make. Sorry for the crappy pic. I've just added body sidewall moldings.

I too have a 2016 EX-L V6, my main complaints are about the info center
