Wife Just Bought a New CR-V
After owning Dodge minivans for 15 years, she decided she wanted something smaller, but she liked being high up. I suggested a Honda CR-V.
I have a 14 Accord LX with the 6 speed manual. She got the 15 CR-V EX. The middle model. Some things in the Accord are a step up. The Accord has nicer door panels with soft material in the top surface. The engine is the same, but it idles a bit slower. My Accord has auto temp and left and right controls. Hers is just basic, but has center vents for the back seat. The Accord has projection beam low beams, hers doesn't, but has the cool LED running lights like hers. The speedo looks the same, but the green lights like turn signal and cruse lights are a different shade of green.
While her Dodges were very reliable, I had my doubts about cars made by a company that is owned by Fiat. (Jeep) The Accord has been problem free, so that was a factor in buying another Honda. I had a Ford Fiesta that had 17 issues in the time I had it, so Ford was out.
While the CR-V is a great compact SUV and generally the highest rated one, I like my Accord better. The Accord usually finishes first in it's class as well.

Nice new ride for the wife
My Mom has been driving CR-V's for a few years now. I think she has had two or three over the last ~10 years and never had an issue.
You'll now have to post a pic of the "trio"
