Default Worth it?

There is a 1991 Honda Accord LX 4 cylinder, automatic for sale around me for $350. It has 180,000 miles on it, a blown head gasket, and a bad alternator (has new tires, though, haha). Also, the price is "negotiable." Think it's worth it? Was just thinking about it, as my '98 has a transmission problem...

They would have to pay me that amount to haul it off, too risky for me.

That would be a great car if you had an H22 and trans sitting around ready for a swap. It really depends on how much money and time you have to put into it.

For thrre fifty, buy it and sell the parts on e-bay, you'll make enoughf to buy more new parts for your regular ride..You can really make about an easy $1500.oo on almost any car as long as it isn't wrecked all over..if you have the room and the time...then go for it .WheelBrokerAng

If it's in good shape and you are at all mechanically inclined I'd probably buy it, put an alternator in there from a junk yard (or just replace the brushes) and re-do the head gasket and sell it for more, if it doesn't sell then like wheel said you can always part it out

Oh, I'm mechanically inclined. Haven't responded 'cause I've been busy installing a torque converter on a friend's Mustang.
