Rather than turning this old valve cover into scrap metal, I gave it new life.


Cleaning Process:
- de-greased in a chemical solution
- media blasted down to a white metal form (900 grit)
- polished lettering

Wrinkle Finish:
- Powder coated not spray painted
- Wrinkle and completely uniform in texture
- Oil resistant vs. OEM finish that soaks up oil fumes
- Thick coating vs. OEM finish paper-thin flakes
- Out last any OEM coating

That is so godZILLA gorgeous... How do you get the letters like that? Do you sand after the powdercoating or polish it and mask it?

 

yes i don't bother to mask of the logo/lettering before coating.

After powder coating & cooled, it's ran through a highspeed sander shave it evenly off.

 

Very nice job you did on that cover...you outta go to the junk yards and buy all the covers you can find and re-do them and start a business for your self..really
