Thanks for all the input...It looks like I will be going with Koni STR-Ts with the Eibach Springs.

I have found replacement polyurethane spring pads for the front but not the rear...does anyone have an idea where those may be acquired? Also, I have read that the stock bump stops need to be cut down...is this a necessary step? ...especially for a nominal drop of about an inch or inch and a half?

Thanks and looking forward to replies...

Robert.

No you can still use your stock bump stops with that small of a drop..no need to sue them.
The spring pads go on top of the springs so they don't hit the top of the strut tower on the inside. Make sure you get the right size tho...most of them are made for coilover springs..coilover springs are much smaller than lowering springs. So let’s say the coilover springs are this wide "(..)" looking down on the spring and lowering springs are this wide "(........)" looking down on the spring.

Thanks to all for the great advice. Turns out I went with Eibach Pro-Kit Springs and Koni STR.T struts. The cornering capabilities have been improved substantially and I certainly don't miss the wheel-well gap!
I think I will most likely get a camber kit. I believe I will use the Eibach Kit for the front - it appears from photos that the adjustment is on the ball joint...I assume on the upper arm...does anyone have a link to, or a pdf of, the installation instructions for the unit?

Thanks and looking forward to replies.

Robert.
