Hi, my 02 Accord is making a noise any time I go over bumps with either backseat passengers or anything heavy in the trunk. Guess its time to change out my shocks. My question is what do you guys recommend as an after market upgrade? I'm thinking something better/smoother than the OEM setup. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

 

Describe the noise? It might be suspension bushings or something else, & then new shocks (alone) won't fix it.

 

Hmm, it's kinda like a loud squeek when the car sinks down over a bump.

 

Noises are difficult to understand over the web. Best thing is to pinpoint the location.

Can you make the noise by bouncing the car (parked)? If so, have someone bounce it while you get down there & listen close. Try using a scrap piece of garden hose as a poor-man's stethoscope.
