Hi all you smart and wise people! I recently bought my second new Accord in Namibia. I'm disappointed though by its harsh ride. It was fitted by the factory with 18 " wheels, Michelin low profiles and it literally jumps over small bumps on the open road with lots of road noise. Shortly after delivery, I noted that roadholding even at low speeds was very unsafe and I took it back to the dealer only to be told nothing was wrong. I then had its shocks tested, which was fine but very hard and on advice of another garage, the wheel alignment. Wheel alignment was totally out and I had it fixed. The dealer still has not reimbused me for the cost, claiming that the guarantee does not cover that. Other owners out there.. is the harsh and loud ride normal? My previous Accord (2007 year) was as smooth and safe one would expect. The dealer replaced staff recently after reports of incompetency. Pity I only found that out too late.
