Default automatic transmission upgrades

Hey everyone, what' up?! I'm new to this whole forum thing, so bare with me. I own a 97' Accord SE with the f22 motor and BOYA auto tranny. The car got around 126,000 miles on it, but runs strong. My question is, are there any upgrades for the auto trannys, like performance, or something to extend it's life. I kinda drive the car like it's a manual (1,2,D3,D4). I know it's not good the tranny's, but i can't help it. I was thinking about installing a tranny cooler as well. Any thoughts?

Default RE: automatic transmission upgrades

the best way to extend the life of a tranny is to get a tranny cooler, they are fairly easy to install and cheap, do a google search and you'll find lots of them. as for performance upgrades not a whole lot you can do without a LOT of money to a tranny...
