Just for future reference, what are the diagonal support beams that separate the back seats from the trunk being used for? Also, if I take them out, will my car A: handle really really badly, or B: be totally screwed in an accident... If anybody knows I would appreciate knowing lol...

 

I would think they stop the body from flexing and should be left alone.

 

K, that's what my dad seems to think too lol. I was just wondering, because one of my buddies mounted some amps on the back of his seat, and I tried to do that lol, but those braces were in the way. He has like a '96 accord, so I don't know if his model didn't have those or if he took them out or what lol. Thanks man!
