Hi,

92 Honda Accord, 4 cyclinder, since I got the car it has had a knock from the front end, there is no apparent play anywhere, and it has had new front shocks fitted, which made no difference to the noise.

It is worse when it is cold, and when first driving.

It sounds and feels like the column has collapsed???

Any help appreciated.

jack it up and check ball joints and tie rod ends. older cars that still run the original equipment are prone to wear and tear. its better to be safe that sorry. gl
