FS: TEIN EDFC control system
My gf got me an EDFC system for my TEIN SS suspension for my birthday, but it doesn't fit. Since she talked to Tein and got the part #, then called a dealer that they told her to call and gave them the # rather than have them look it up, it became a special order and they told her that Tein won't accept the return from them, so they won't from her.
I had held out on buying it for myself because I wasn't sure that it would fit!
So she got it and I tried to see if it was possible to fit it on my system. I quickly noticed that the threads on the motors don't fit on top of the shocks and later found out that the reason that I'd need the pillowball mount system is because it lowers the front shocks so the motor clears the hood.
So now I have an EDFC system that I can't use and I figured that I'd try to sell it here before she posts it on ebay. I opened the grease pack when trying to install the first motor, but only used a drop of grease. Everything is new and unused as it could never be installed.
This setup cost $400 and I'd like to get $330 for it. Shipping would be by the buyer and would be the actual cost.
I will post pictures as soon as I can. She took some, but I haven't looked at them yet.
Controller - but it's black!

RE: FS: TEIN EDFC control system
nah .... for it to work, I'd have to swap out my front struts then get the M10's for the rear. Too much work and too many parts to change. If it were just the M12 to M10 swap I'd have already done it. I'm basically happy riding on 10/8 settings, but it would have been nice to have on-the-fly adjustment as well as the half-step increments.
btw- the motor that I tried to install was on the rear in the back seat.

They have M10, M12 and M14. They make the Tein SS and SS-P for 6th gens. The SS-P is the one that this kit is for, I have the SS.
