Lowering Kit What to get?
#11
230K miles car, mileage on suspension setup is well over 100K miles. I've had the car for a year so I don't have exact details on everything. Car still rides firm, but I occasionally hear a "sproing" sound. I want a firmer ride and adjustability anyways...more along the lines of Konis/GC's or like posted above.

have you had an alignment done? do you know where your camber is at? you may need to get camber adjusters to correct for the lowered state. start with an alignment.
what tires do you have on the car (size and rating), you may need to modify your fenders to gain full turning.
coilovers replace the spring/dampeners you already have, incorporating both into one housing. so if you go with a full coilover kit, you've wasted the money on the existing springs/dampeners.
you may have just bought the wrong front springs, or it may be the installation.
start with an alignment, adjust camber as necessary, and go from there.
