Default Lowering Springs Suggestions?

I'm looking to drop my 2005 v6 accord coupe about a couple inches. So I've narrowed it down to three. Eibach sportline, Tein S. Tech, or H&R. Which would you suggest out of these three? Or are there any other suggestions you can throw at me? Which provides a more comfortable ride. Also, will i have to get new shocks/struts as well?

Which H&R springs? The Race springs are VERY stiff and definitely need GOOD shocks.

Depends on how stiff you want the ride to be (which is somewhat controlled by the shocks as well)

softest <-> stiffest

Tein S. Tech > Eibach Sportline > H&R Race

If they're H&R sport, they're a bit softer, but the race give a 2" drop or so.

And yes, anything over 1" or so will need aftermarket shocks to control the new springs.

I recommened Koni Sports, Tokico Illumina and KYB AGX.

It all depends on which coilovers and springs you get, but in the end the set ups usually cost the same.

If you drop more than 1", I highly recommend you get shocks as well. Stock shocks or OEM replacement cannot handle the higher spring rates of lowering springs, so you will have poor handling and they will wear out much faster.

Do you have a budget in mind? Quality, lasting parts will set you in the $600 range minimum, there are a few things you can do to make it a bit cheaper.

What car are they going on?

Question That's A Moot Question...

Iv'e used H&R, Eibach, DropZone(i like) , Sprint Springs (i like)+ there made by DropZone.,haven't ever use Tein Products...|(why pay so much money for something that you can get much lower price) .

Again..load rateing, driving style, cash in the pocket and what your realy want ..these are the questions you need to decide to do 1st..

Hope this helps you out...

Because you are paying for the R&D that went into designing the spring. With car parts it really not the same as, say, brand name vs. generic ibuprofen.

If you want to spend $50-100 less on springs that are going to provide bad ride quality, cornering characteristics, sagging, then by all means, go for it.
