Mookeeh MK1 Gas Struts for 5th Gen
Saw these of the Bay...
MK1 Front & Rear 4 Shocks Struts 91 Honda Accord EX LX | eBay
Does anyone have any insight as to the overall quality of these struts? I am both curious and apprehensive that they are cheaper than OEM replacements.
I have a 96 LX sedan with stock suspension on dealer option wheels. I would like it to be lower; ideally somewhere in the 1.5-2 inch range vs. stock ride height. It is also in need of struts.
I had considered coil overs but these claim to be about 1" lower than stock; just wondering how accurate that is? I drive approx 150 miles round trip 5 days a week so dependability is a must with any mods I make to my DD. If I can get a 1 inch drop with just these I would be satisfied, assuming they are quality parts.
In summary my Q's are these:
1. What kind of quality are these struts?
2. What kind of change in ride height can I expect if I only install these with stock springs?
3. Would there be any camber differences to worry about with just these struts?
Thanks for the help!

1. I have never heard of them
2.Will have NO drop just replacing struts. Also lowing on OEM rated struts will cause them to blow out very very fast. You need a strut that can handle the abuse of a lowering spring or coilovers.
3.When lowering yes you will need to get a front camber kit and have it adjusted when you get a NEW alignment. Always get alignment after lowering or changing
the ride hight.

Thanks for the feedback guys... I have done more research and will save my bones for a set of Koni STR.Ts.
On the subject of springs, I have looked at a set of H&R OE Sports with a .75 inch drop front and rear... any idea what how much camber correction would be needed? I assume I would be good with .75 degrees of positive?
Thanks!
