Default Need Advice On My Suspension

I had a question about dropping the car... I have a 94 Accord 4Dr Ex and when I got it, it was already dropped about 2.5 inches. And since lately Ive been rubuilding the head, I notice that when I took off the tires the inside of them were starting to wear out and you can start to see the little wires. Does anyone know that if dropping the car it makes the tires like that becuase it tucks in or could it be that the springs were cut out and thats why it tucks?

Would that make the tire straighten out and more verticle?

well since you got it already dropped it probably was just dropped on springs without a camber kit and alignment since the tires are badly worn out...but yeah when you drop a car more than one inch the camber goes negative, i think, meaning they point like this / \...so the car was probably dropped without a camber kit...so yeah u probably want to get one of those but ask a professional first

I agree with you, plus my dad took it to his friend's shop to see what he would say and he said I need camber kits, but he is charging me 80 for each wheel and I decided to look it up and I found this...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-97...spagenameZWDVW
do you think that is worth it?

the tire issue could also be from the inner/outer tie rod ends...at least that is what is sticking out in my head

my advice to you is to have it check by a alignment shop or have your dad's friend tell you or him how much off your cambers are. then check ebay again for the camber kit thatit would allow you to adjust your camber to proper measurement. I did the same thing with mine. i drop it 1.2 both ends and took it to a tire shop.they told me how far my camber was off and quoted me about $400 total with labor to fix it. i said no thanks, check ebay got me a camber kit for less than $100,putit myself and have them align it again.problem solved. and also someone posted here before thatbe sure to get theadjustable camber kit that is not straight cuz it might rub on your tires.my car is a 96' and ibought the one with the bend and it works great! i'm not sure how yourswould be like so you might want to take a peek under there and figure it out if you need the one that is straight orwith a bend. good luck on your issue.let us know how it turned out,or if you have any questions, post it.
