New to Honda
Hello folks,
I just bought a 2003 Accord EX sedan, 2.4L automatic. It has 132K miles and appears to have been taken care of. I inspected it and I bought it knowing that one front strut was leaking. I purchased both front strut assemblies with new spring and bearing already installed. I replaced the leaking one yesterday and will replace the other one today. Overall not a bad job.
So, I am good with wrenches and working on vehicles but I know next to nothing about this Honda. Are there any things I should look for or be aware of regarding this car?
I will be visiting this site often and hope to get some usefull info from you folks.
Thanks,
TMP

There isn't anything really "common issues" with the 7th gen Accords that comes to mind.
As with anything, maintenance items need to be taken care of and "wear" items....well they wear out
If you are going to "play" around with it - DIY - you might want to invest $22~$27 on a decent shop manual for the car - many of us have the one from "www (dot) automanualsource (dot) com" - there are some free downloads floating around as well.

A common issue that I can think of is the automatic transmission. Keep up with the fluid changes, & only use Honda fluid. ATF & power-steering fluids are the 2 fluids that don't get along with the stuff that says "all makes & models".
