The installation manual should tell you how to set it up initially and also it should tell you that corresponding drop in case you want to adjust it some. Remember that the springs will settle a half inch after the first month, so don't go too low with new springs.

That looks like the one for the front. The bottom just sits in a hole and requires no bolt, nut etc... Youll see what im talkin about when you have the old one off. As for the adjustment and sleeves, depending on how low/high you want the car, you twist the bottom part to the left to raise and to the right to lower the car. You tighten up the middle sleeve up to the top sleeve so the spring rate is messed with... DONT ADJUST THE TOP SLEEVE THAT HOLDS THE SPRING.... Heres a detailed pic

Jman's got it

Only thing I'd add is to turn the top perch a few turns if you can to help preload the spring. Thats what the manf recommended on mine.

Well you can compare your old struts/shocks height to your new ones after you remove it. Then adjust the new one about an inch shorter than the factory one. This may or may not be the right amount of drop... But you can adjust the front ones when you get them on the car by jackingthe car up a little taking off some pressure and turn the bottom sleeve up or down. You just gotta keep letting the car down and see what the height looks like(very tedious and aggravating.... The back coilovers however you have to take the bolt out of the bottom to adjust it everytime...I wish I was there to show ya because its hard to explain

J_man .... as BCK mentioned, in the picture above, the words "spring rates" should be replaced with "preload"

I'm a nitpicky bastard, aren't I! ..... just don't want others that are reading to learn about the systems to get confused

hrmm...i guess all coilovers are different. on the teins, all you do is lift the car up, and spin the locks. nothing about actually rotating the bottom part as illustrated in the picture

Yes tnguyen600, ours are not adjusted like this set here, I think ours are a bit less complicated and not to hurt anyone's feelings, but more user-friendly as well.
