I was going to install my springs and shocks on my 2005 Accord Coupe until I realized...I didnt know how to get to the rear shock assembly!?...does anyone know how to get there??...like is it through the backseat, trunk or what??...ohh and if possible can some one post or send me a DIY for shock and spring install on 7th gen accords

 

Lower your back seats and take off the plastic trim at the top, where the seats latch...you'll find the nuts for everything in the corners under the rear deck....get a spring/strut compressor from autozone or someplace...you can rent it and get your money back when you're done...go toV6Performance.net and search for a DIY spring/ strut removal...you should find some pretty good write up there with pics....It took me an hour and a half to do one side (without the DIY help) and 20 minutes to do the other...pretty simple...I would suggest usinf an impact for the spring/strut compressor as it will greatly improve the speed of the replacement....and save your knuckles...good luck
