Default Spring and Strut Advice

Hey all,

I am looking to upgrade struts and springs in my daily CD5. I have rounded it down to three combos and would appreciate feedback. My goal is significantly better handling over worn stock components while maintaining ride comfort. I want to do this economically but do it right the first time.

Option 1: Tein H Tech with Koni STR.Ts
I've heard they have a great ride and the stance is what I'm looking for.

Option 2: Neuspeed Sofsports with Koni STR.Ts
Not much drop but a slightly firmer spring.

Option 3: Neuspeed Sofsports with KYB GR-2
most economical, but I'm worried about too much bounce, even with the mild (almost unnoticible) drop.

Also, does anyone know how the Sofsports compare to H&R OE Sports. I know they have the same drop, but are the Neuspeeds a little more firm?

Thanks!

don't use GR2's if you plan on ANY type of drop. They are very bouncy and blow out quick with being lowered. I'm a coilover guy so I can't help you out much more than this. But don't use GR2's they are ORM replacement ONLY

Have you considered coil overs? I'm guessing function form type 1s wouldnt cost much if any more than new springs/struts.
