Default Strut Tower Brace for 6th Gen

I have a 2000 EX w/ 4cyl, and have read in this forum about using a 6 cyl strut bar, or one from an Acura as a mild upgrade to chassis stiffness. I can't find this part on Honda or Acura estores; what do they call them, or what section are they in? I know what it is, and where it is on my car, but just can't locate in the electronic catalogs.

Or (even better) does anyone know the factory part numbers?

Thanks in advance.

I would just go with an aftermarket bar, (ie.Neuspeed, DC Sports, countless other companies)that make bars for your car. I think it is just as expensive to get an aftermarket bar than to go with getting an Acura STOCK bar than anything else....

Thanks, I may do that and want to spend wisely.Anyone have any recommendations?I'm assuming thata factory V6 or Acura bar is definitely stiffer than the two small (stock) brackets I currently have, whereas at least some of the aftermarket ones might look pretty andbut not be much different than what I have.

Update: OK, I found the Acura part (74180-S0K-A00) in the Cross Beam section and is priced less than $50. I will go this route if someone can confirm this (for a 2000 Acura TL) will fit on my Honda.

**Any 6th gen owners done this? (installed Acura TL strut bar on Accord)

sorry I didn't catch this post sooner.... and the part you're looking for is more commonly refered to as a sway bar and it goes under the car, the diameter (measured in mm) determines the stiffness...

No, I was looking for the bar that connects the shock towers. I couldn't find the Acura p/n's or pics on the dealer parts sitebut finally did so will go that route. Thanks.
